About the Founder
Lilli Markle, Founder & Chief Strategist at Well Adapted, is a Strategic Programs Expert | Sustainability & Wellbeing Advocate (WELL AP), with a background in ESG and 10+ years of international Project Management experience. Lilli brings a breadth of experience and a multifaceted commitment to sustainable development goals, working with real estate developers and managers, tech startups, government and nonprofit organizations, professional agencies and independent wellness and sustainability pros.
Lilli studied business at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada specializing in cultural management. Early in her career, she had the opportunity to work with municipalities, producing large scale festivals and arts education programs, eventually becoming a nonprofit development and fundraising specialist. She has managed multi-million dollar capital campaigns and grant programs as well as annual galas and other special events. During her time in New York City, she became a founding member of a real estate tech startup, growing the business development activities through subsequent acquisitions during the lifestyle tech boom.
Throughout this time, she was teaching yoga and meditation in the US in Canada. Lilli’s passion for human health and sustainability led her to pursue a WELL Accredited Professional certification through the International Well Building Institute (IWBI). Well Adapted Group was founded to consult with individuals and organizations to make their spaces more productive and impactful, through efficient, tech-infused human-centric leadership and a connection to the environment.
Having worked closely with end users and service providers in both the multifamily and corporate real estate spaces, in addition to managing one of the largest corporate real estate trade associations across the globe, Lilli identifies a substantial opportunity to support the net zero, value creation and human health goals simultaneously, especially in the spaces where we live, learn and work. As a business owner, partner and parent of two young children, her mission is to support individuals and organizations with their E.S.G. goals, creating a more healthy, equitable, climate-friendly, and ultimately a more profitable landscape for all stakeholders.
